DESCRIPTION
Welcome to the Beginner Tutorials section!
This is where you will develop the fundamental skills needed to confidently ride at a cable park. These sessions focus on the essential techniques required to navigate the cable system, maintain control, and build confidence on the water.
Key topics include:
Practical skills for a successful dock start
Learning to navigate turns and maintain control
Understanding body positioning and edging techniques
Establishing a stable riding stance before progressing further
Please note: It’s completely normal to take time to master these skills. Many riders do not complete a full lap of the course on their first attempt, but persistence is key. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll be on your way to independent riding!
CERTIFICATION
After successfully demonstrating your skills and completing the knowledge-based assessment with an approved coach, you will be able to prove your competency when visiting cable parks around the world. Some parks may still require additional assessments based on their specific regulations, so be prepared for variations depending on location.
